This historic farmhouse was cut into the side of a wide valley, with the soil originally mounded steeply behind the building, blocking the views & potential use of the meadow beyond.

Extensive soil movement & re-grading opened up a wise level terrace for play once the tennis court was completed & the meadow re-seeded with an appropriate rye grass mix.
